Hera is Zeus' wife, Queen of the gods and goddess of Marriage and Womanhood.

Hera is one of the elder Olympian gods, the six children of the Titans Kronos and Rhea. She helped their sisters Hestia, Demeter and her brothers Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus overthrow their Kronos and the older members of their family, the Titans. Hera was tricked into marrying him when Zeus appeared to her as a bird. She told the bird "Oh, what use are men! If only I could marry you, my sweet sweet bird." At which point Zeus revealed his true identity and held her to her word. She has since become an overly jealous wife, who desires nothing more than to please her husband. Hera is the goddess of marriage and the protector of wives.
